Micro Mobility Systems is sharing new insights into the development process of its Microlino 2.0 e-lightweight vehicle. The first prototype chassis, which incorporates the new chassis, motor and battery, has been undergoing testing for the past few days, and despite the Corona pandemic, the production launch is still set for 2021.

Micro Mobility Systems has announced that the first prototype of the Microlino 2.0 has been built and is now undergoing testing, with homologation and EU road approval due to be completed in August this year and production starting shortly after in September.
Micro Mobility Systems provides another update on the development of its Microlino e-light vehicle: the near-production third prototype now features, among other things, a folding roof. The Swiss company has also founded a company together with partner CECOMP that will be responsible for production in Turin.
Ahead of its market launch, a vehicle engineer and a car designer have created an off-road version of the Microlino. The e-small car has not only been given knobby tires and an exoskeleton, but also a new skateboard platform.
Micro Mobility Systems has postponed the start of production of the Microlino until mid-March 2022, citing ongoing bottlenecks in the global supply chain. The first 500 vehicles will also be built as a special edition model.
