96 Siemens charging points for Hamburger Hochbahn depot
Siemens Smart Infrastructure has received a major order from Hamburger Hochbahn to equip two of the six carports at the Alsterdorf bus depot with a total of 96 charging points as well as medium- and low-voltage technology. Commissioning is scheduled for summer 2021.

Daimler Truck AG concludes battery partnership with CATL
CATL will supply batteries for the production version of the announced Mercedes-Benz eActros LongHaul starting in 2024. Daimler's commercial vehicle division has also entered into its own collaborations for battery and fuel cell truck infrastructure ahead of the planned split of the group.

Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, together with mobility service provider Moia and software company Argo AI, has unveiled plans for an autonomous ridepooling pilot project based on the all-electric VW ID. Buzz AD aims to develop an autonomous, internationally scalable ridepooling system in Hamburg by 2025.
