e.GO Mobile plans to start production at its main plant in Germany in early 2021 after relaunching under the Next.e.GO Mobile name. The Aachen, Germany-based electric car manufacturer has also signed an agreement with the Greek government to set up a second series production facility.

The Polish charging infrastructure provider Ekoenergetyka has installed 17 depot charging stations for electric buses with a capacity of 75 kW each for Aachener Straßenbahn und Energieversorgungs-AG (ASEAG), with a further ten of these charging stations to follow in mid-2021.
Aachen-based e-car startup e.GO Mobile, which now operates under the name Next.e.GO Mobile after being acquired by a Dutch investment group, has closed a Series B financing round of more than €30 million to start production at its Aachen plant.
Next.e.GO Mobile has resumed production of the Life e-small car in Aachen, Germany, after the manufacturer began selling the special edition e.GO Life Next in Germany in June. 500 cars are expected to be completed by the end of the year - some with a new charger.
