Recall for the Ford Mustang Mach-E

Ford must rework nearly 50,000 examples of its Mustang Mach-E electric model, or about half of the model's total production, and the manufacturer has also imposed a sales freeze on potentially affected vehicles.

The problem: Fast charging and repeated hard acceleration can cause the high-voltage battery's main contactors to overheat, which would result in a loss of drive power. Ford says the problem will be ironed out with a software update.
