Polestar service network includes 200 partners

Geely's Swedish brand Polestar has once again expanded its German service network, adding over 75 more partners since last summer, meaning the brand's e-cars can now be serviced at 200 locations.

In a first step, the service network comprised 61 partners by spring 2021, and in July the interim target of 125 partners was reached. Maintenance or repair work and, if necessary, software updates are carried out at the service points. Sales advice does not take place there; this is to be provided in the "Polestar Spaces".

With the continuous expansion, Polestar is ensuring that every customer has access to a workshop close to home, the manufacturer said in a statement. Polestar has two important advantages here: firstly, the synergies with the parent company Volvo and its service network. But Polestar's direct sales system also helps: the brand knows where its customers live - and can prioritise regions with a high customer density accordingly when expanding.

"The Polestar brand continues to grow at breakneck speed. Quality of service is essential and has a direct impact on customer satisfaction," says Alexander Lutz, Managing Director of Polestar Germany. "Offering our customers first-class support throughout Germany, in an uncomplicated manner and close to home, is an important part of our strategy. Thanks to the close relationship with Volvo, they benefit from the many years of expertise of our premium partners and have all-round carefree coverage. "
