Polestar opens three more Spaces in Germany

As part of the current relaxation for retailers, Swedish electric car brand Polestar has now opened more Polestar Spaces in Stuttgart, Hamburg and Munich, bringing the number of showrooms in this country to five.

However, these are also two latecomers: the openings in Hamburg and Stuttgart were already announced in December, but then could not take place due to the tightened pandemic restrictions in the middle of the month. In addition to the Polestar Space in Düsseldorf, which opened in the summer, and the location in Cologne, which opened at the beginning of December, the brand now has five Spaces in Germany.

Due to the new lockdown regulations, the Spaces can now be booked for individual appointments. The first visitors have the Space almost to themselves, as Polestar communicates: "For us as well as for the customers, this is certainly an opening of a different kind, because thanks to Click&Meet, the visit now becomes an exclusive experience," says Alexander Lutz, Managing Director Polestar Germany. "As a premium brand, we can ideally implement the current lockdown regulations in our new Spaces. The customer benefits from an individual 1:1 consultation."

The appointments have to be booked in advance for a fixed limited period of time. However, the openings are also subject to strict conditions: In addition to the appointment allocation, the incidence number may not exceed 100 and a 40 square metre sales area must be available per visitor, according to Polestar. Only when the incidence value falls below 50 should it be possible to lift restrictions such as the appointment booking.
