Flying "Formula 1 car" with hydrogen

French startup MACA has unveiled the concept of a hydrogen-powered racing flying car, the Carcopter, at CES 2021. Yes, that's right, the founders want to create a flying car competition to accelerate innovation in the eVTOL market and generate revenue from racing.

The carcopter has built-in H2 tanks and fuel cells that power six 35-kW electric motors, and is expected to reach flight speeds of up to 246 km/h. If all goes well, MACA plans to launch the production model by the end of 2021 - and put it to use on various Formula One tracks around the world.slashgear.com, ubergizmo.com
